Race Week – Geronimo!

Ok, no new skiing news this week, but that’s part of why I love summer’s in New England.  New outdoor activities to fill my weekends, which, of course, often include a “healthy” apres.  Just back from Marblehead Race Week, where I battled a Viper 640 (one design sailing dinghy) around the race course with my buddies Spencer and David for 4 days (ok, we only raced 3 days, as Friday was canceled from the Noreaster that pounded through Marblehead).  Saturday and Sunday were both beautiful days with breeze out of the southeast and sun poking through the clouds.  Perfect.

After a long 3-race day on the water there is NOTHING better than a cold beer.  Followed up by rum-cocktail.  Followed up by “just one more quick rumski” as they say…  Please continue to send us your stories of “Legendary Tales from Apres” (we will be voting on the best story this winter and the winner gets a free trip to Bropeak, in Canada… one of our favorites!).
