We are happy to be one of the many multi-national news outlets reporting that the great Wayne Wong or “The Wonger” will be inducted into the Canadian Ski Hall of fame. We of course strongly support this appointment and extend our highest congrats to an icon of what we here at www.Apresski.US are all about. Wong has been a trailblazer in the sport of skiing and specifically instrumental in bringing the “Hot Dog” movement to the national forefront. Wong’s freestyle influence can be felt from Gunstock to Gstaad on groomers, in the park, and even in the back country. In fact, Wonger’s influence can be felt and witnessed in young generations of skiers everywhere, many of whom are completely oblivious to the origins of their style. Style of course is something taken very seriously here at Apres, so serious in fact that we have staffed a full time fashion officer (CFO) who has openly praised Wong as a major influence on his work. Furthermore our very first “Snow Stud of the Week,” also credits Wong as a major personal and professional influence, and being Canadian himself you know this is special news for him too.
