Time for Tuckerman

With the springtime in New England comes many things – mud season, the Boston Marathon, Opening Day for the Red Sox, and of course the trek up to Tuckerman. I for one have never done the trip up to Tuckerman for skiing, though I’ve hiked Mt. Washington many times. I’ve heard amazing things from people who have done the hike. I have an image in my head – gorgeous bluebird day, sitting on the Lunch Rocks drinking a beer after shredding down the bowl, watching people shred, bail, sled, and yard sale their way down the headwall. Sounds pretty satisfying to me.

There is a great resource for all things for Tuckerman, and that is Time for Tuckerman. With weather reports, hiking trails, ski trails down, and the different ski routes on the headwall, it is a one-stop-shop for anyone planning a trip up to Pinkham Notch to get some turns in, or for those just looking to enjoy the atmosphere up on the Lunch Rocks.

So who’s in?
