Winter Storm Warning!

For many New-Englanders this instills FEAR… the thought of shoveling the car alone is enough to keep people inside.  I pretty much love it!  Looks like Stowe might be a decent destination if you have the weekend free…

from Weather.com:  THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BURLINGTON CONTINUES THE WINTER STORM WARNING FOR HEAVY SNOW AND SLEET FOR ESSEX COUNTY NEW YORK… AS WELL AS CENTRAL… NORTH CENTRAL AND NORTHEASTERN VERMONT. THIS WARNING IS IN EFFECT FROM 4 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 4 PM EST FRIDAY.

The term “sleet” is never good, but my hunch is that a little sleet in town is white and fluffy on the mountain… ok, maybe “fluffy” is a stretch for anything in Vermont, but I am sure it will be a blast!  Don’t forget to pay a little attention to the Matterhorn apres!

Well, I must say….I will be surely enjoying this lovely winter storm my gal pal mother nature has given to me as an early Christmas present…..the parking-ban signs are blinking downtown, people have their snowblowers out and ready for action, and my Bolton pass is glistening, ah yes it’s beginning to look a lot like winter!……… sorry I don’t ski Andy, but at least we both share an equal tenderness for that white fluffy stuff…….peace, and love from Vermont!
